NFTibet MINT Be the flower not the bee.
2nd serie, 1/6.
Flowers are often seen as symbols of beauty and hope, reminding us to stay positive and keep going. “Be the Flower, not the Bee” is a piece that Lama Tashi Norbu created on the 16th of February 2022 during the depths of the COVID-19 Pandemic. This work is a tribute to the Dalai Lama, who is known for his message of peace and compassion. The beautiful design of this flower statue is a reminder that we can all find peace and happiness within ourselves, no matter what life throws our way.
” Be the Flower, not the Bee ” was made in Daramshala, the seat of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and it is also a tribute to the Tibetan Government in exile. This piece speaks to the difficult but ultimately rewarding process of creating something beautiful and meaningful in the face of struggle and adversity. Like a flower that rises from the bottom of a pond to reach the sunshine, the Tibetan Government in exile has blossomed beautifully against all odds, attracting the attention of friends and allies around the world.
In the background of this art piece, there are thousands of Tibetan mantras written down by the veterans of deep love, focus and positive attention. This piece is called “Be the flower not the bee” and it is created to inspire people to come closer to compassion and awareness. The mantra is a frequency of love and compassion for all sentient beings. The mystery of the universe is that which causes actions, emotions, and beliefs, and this piece represents the power of positive energy and thought.
May we all come closer to compassion and awareness through the beauty of “The Flower Buddha”. This piece is a testament to the resilience and strength of the human spirit, and a reminder to always seek the light and beauty that can be found even in the darkest of times.
